Graphics card requirements
Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5, and Compressor 4 require a graphics card that supports Metal, an Apple technology that lets the system and apps efficiently tap into the capabilities of today’s graphics processors (GPUs). If you're editing 4K video, using 3D titles, or editing 360º video, 1GB of VRAM is recommended.

- The NVIDIA Quadro K6000 has many more TMUs than the NVIDIA Quadro K5000 for Mac. Furthermore, its graphics clock is higher, therefore its texture fillrate is considerably higher. Better maximum texture fill rate allows the GPU to map more textures and/or use more sophisticated 3D effects for each texel, which improves games visual appearance.
