Steinberg has developed a fix for this: the Steinberg Application Installer Tool. The Steinberg Application Installer Tool is a utility that enables a seamless installation of some of Steinberg software that is not otherwise compatible with the Yosemite (v10.10) operating system.

NOTE: Current Steinberg software installed before the Yosemite update is not affected.
